Vegan Caprese salad
This is a simple Italian salad made of sliced vegan cheese, tomatoes, and sweet basil, seasoned with salt and olive oil. It is occasionally served with rocket.
Serves: 1-2 people.
Time: 5-10 minutes
680g vine-ripened tomatoes, cored
A whole BCH Activated Charcoal “Chease”
6g or 1 tsp of sea salt
Basil leaves, torn or cut into thin strips (optional)
4tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
Slice the tomatoes and cheese into thick slices.
Arrange the salad on a serving platter or individual plates in an alternating pattern.
Season with the salt and olive oil.
Serve at room temperature.
