DESCRIPTION

Artisan hand-crafted fermented savoury tonic drink, used as a digestive aid and a blood tonic. Slightly salty in flavour, we recommend mixing your kvass with sparkling water or tonic water, perhaps with a slice of lemon. Very good for the liver, blood circulation and heart. Sediment may form, this is natural since the product is live. Should be stored chilled.

Please note, this is a product we currently make in very small batches for a few of our wholesale customers. We do not make it in bulk so availablility may be limited.

DELIVERY

As a small start-up producing small batches, we generally require a 2-4 working-day lead time to dispatch your order, although this may vary during busy periods.
We only dispatch parcels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (excluding bank holidays). Unfortunately we don't offer weekend delivery.

Local Delivery
We offer local delivery for £2, for various postcodes near to us or on our route home (BS40, BA16, BA6, BA5, BS27 and any BS39 postcodes in Bishops Sutton). If you live locally to us (BS40 6PE) you can also order and select the free pick-up option. Once we've confirmed your order is ready for pick-up, you can come anytime Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm.

Beet Kvass is fabulous

Beet Kvass is rich and refreshing, with a deep earthy flavour as well. As suggested, it's best with at least half again of sparkling water. I’ll be ordering some more when this runs out.

Frequently asked product questions:

What will be the best-before date of my kvass on arrival?

We guarantee 3-months shelf-life, as long as you keep your kvass refrigerated! :) i.e. if you receive your kvass on the 28th February you'll receive a bottle with a best-before date of eat least the 1st June.

How long after opening the bottle do I have to drink it all?

We recommend drinking your kvass within 5-days of opening the bottle.

Do I need to store your beet kvass in my fridge?

Yes. Please do strore your kvass in the fridge; this ensures the live bacteria doesn't get up and party too much!

How much beet kvass should I drink per day?

We'd always say it depends on various factors including what your dietary goals are and the state of your immune system, but generally we'd recommend drinking a small cup per day.

Am I supposed to drink it neat?

No - you can if you like, but it's a fairly strong flavour. We'd recommend mixing 50:50 with either tonic water or sparkling water. At home we add either a slice of cucumber or squeeze or lemon/lime too - delicious.
